Kyle Lafferty's miserable second Rangers spell is over as his contract was terminated by mutual consent..
The Northern Ireland striker was surplus to requirements at Ibrox after disappointing since his return to the club.
Lafferty was understood to be in talks with Thai Super League side Buriram United earlier this month.
Steven Gerrard revealed earlier on Wednesday the 31-year-old was on the verge of leaving and Rangers have now confirmed his departure.
The former Hearts and Norwich striker scored just seven goals in 38 appearances for the Light Blues last season following his move from Hearts.
A club statement said: "Rangers can today confirm that Kyle Lafferty’s contract has been terminated by mutual consent.
"The 31-year-old returned to Ibrox for a second spell last summer and made 30 appearances under Steven Gerrard during 2018/19, scoring six goals.
"Kyle leaves with the best wishes of everyone at the club for his future career."
Lafferty is now the third player to leave Ibrox this week as Gerrard continues to streamline
Goalkeeper Jak Alnwick joined Blackpool on loan on Tuesday while Daniel Candeias moved to Turkish side Gençlerbirliği 24 hours ealier.

And Gerrard insists there will be more departures soon.
"There will be other bodies that move on," the Ibrox boss said as he previewed Thursday's Europa League clash with Progres Niederkorn.
"We are moving forward and trying to make the squad as set as possible for the season."
Lafferty was told he has no future at Rangers despite Gerrard’s decision to pay money to take him back to Ibrox from Hearts last summer for a second time.
He was left back at home when the Light Blues headed to Portugal for their pre-season camp and now looks set to continue his career abroad.
