He might be unbeaten with the Rangers first team in all competitions as this season shapes up to be a promising one at Ibrox.
But Steven Gerrard has now offered his wealth of experience at the top level of football in a 'midfield masterclass' for youngsters at the club to learn from.
The digital session drew over 300 virtual attendees on Friday night as the former Liverpool great imparted his wisdom to the club's future prospects.
Members of the club's integrated women's team also tuned in to hear what the manager had to say as he also spoke of some of the highlights of his career, which included a dramatic comeback in the 2005 Champions League final against AC Milan.
And several of the delighted kids took to social media to post pictures of themselves with the Ibrox boss as he delivered the talk.
Meanwhile, Gerrard says his side aren't quite among the top sides in European football just yet - but he believes they'll take on any challenge with qualification to the last 32 of the Europa League within their grasp.
He said: "What I would say is this group of players is very honest. They are a great group and whatever challenge they are presented with, they will go and give it their best shot - that’s for sure.
"Their attitude and application, I’ve been very proud of since the beginning of the season. In terms of facing anyone in Europe at the moment, I think it’s a bit ambitious to say that.
"We are still a group in an evolution, trying to improve. But without a doubt, they will take any challenge on."
