Steven Gerrard has been pictured relaxing on holiday with reality television star Joey Essex.
The Aston Villa manager and Liverpool legend is taking a well-deserved break this summer. Speaking about his holiday plans during coverage of the Champions League final, Gerrard told his fellow BT Sports colleagues that he was taking some time away from work to go away with his family.
It appears Gerrard, his wife Alex and their children have opted for a beach break in the United States. Gerrard's eldest daughter Lilly has posted several snaps of their holiday, including one with former The Only Way Is Essex star Joey Essex.

In the picture, Joey can be seen with his arm around Gerrard. All of Gerrard's family and friends appear relaxed as they shared drinks at sunset.
While on holiday, the family celebrated Gerrard's 42nd birthday. Gerrard shared an Instagram post alongside Alex, Lilly and Lourdes as he enjoyed a family meal.
Lilly also a posted two pictures from her birthday bash earlier this year and said: "Happy birthday to my dad. Love you all the world. Thank you for everything."
Lexie took to social media and also shared a message to the former LFC captain. She said: "Happy birthday to the best. I love you so much. Wish I was with you."
