Rangers boss Steven Gerrard insists he'll be the proudest man on the planet on May 15 when his side lift the Premiership title.
The Ibrox manager refused to get drawn into the debate started by John Kennedy's claim Celtic are the best team in the country, despite Borna Barisic branding it 'the biggest joke' he's heard.
Gerrard wasn't up for any tit-for-tat and insists he doesn't care what people outside Rangers think, because his side are going to lift the Premiership trophy next month.
In just under a month, James Tavernier will officially end a decade of hurt and despair for Rangers supporters when he holds the trophy aloft at Ibrox.
It's a disappointment that the stadium will be empty but Gerrard is already looking forward to that day and believes it will be a massive one for everyone with the club.
He said: "Everyone is entitled to their own view and their own opinion. That’s why there’s so many platforms to give people that chance to give that opinion.
"I don’t really focus on anyone outside Rangers in terms of their views and opinions. I just focus on what is happening in here.
"On May 15, we’ll lift our 55th title as a club and I’ll be one of the proudest men on the planet.
"Where that sits right now, we’re 20 points clear with four games to play with the chance to go unbeaten so I don’t need to listen to anyone outside of Rangers to get a view on that.
"I know the reality is, I know the truth and it’s a day we’re looking forward to as a club.
"Anyone’s view on the outside is not really important."
