Steven Gerrard makes two changes as Rangers face Ross County

Steven Gerrard has made two changes to the side that lost 1-0 against Hamilton Accies at Ibrox.

Florian Kamberi drops to the bench to be replaced by Ryan Kent for today's Premiership match against Ross County in Dingwall.

Captain James Tavernier, meanwhile, misses out through injury and is replaced by Matt Polster.

The Rangers boss has addressed captain James Tavernier's controversial programme notes for the Hamilton Accies match, in which he claimed that opponents were "smelling blood".

Gerrard said: "We're not always going to say the right things. From time to time my players, my staff and myself are going to get things wrong, especially in the heat of the moment. We're human beings. We're not perfect.

"The players in that dressing room are at a point in their careers when they are trying to learn and improve and grow, none of them are there.

"So I think they are going to get things wrong and make mistakes. But at the same time we're at a club where we're going to need protection at times. We need people to look out for us, and help us.

"There's things I've said during my career, since I've been manager here, that maybe I would have said different. Maybe I regret saying things, but I'm a human being. That's the way it is."

STARTING XI: McGregor, Polster, Goldson, Edmundson, Barisic, Kamara, Davis, Aribo, Hagi, Kent, Morelos

SUBS: Foderingham, Halliday, Katic, Patterson, Jones, Kennedy, Kamberi

Today's match kicks off at 12pm.
