Steven Gerrard has the Midas touch for Rangers in Europe - Back Page Football Show

Rangers and Steven Gerrard can use the Europa League break to get their form and confidence back.

Rangers have been in poor form recently but are unbeaten at home in Europe under Gerrard and Fraser believes he's got a special thing going on.

He said: "Big one for Steven Gerrard, big one for Rangers, huge one for the supporters.  Steven Gerrard seems to have a bit of the Midas touch when it comes to European football in his Rangers management career. Don’t know if that lingers from his Liverpool days and lifting the Champions League.

"But he certainly seems to know how to attack these games. If you look at Porto, Feyenoord at Ibrox, just the fact he’s managed to qualify for the group stage two years running and is now taking that a stage further this year.

"I don’t think they should go into this Braga game fearing them.

"They’ve proven they can handle these big hitters and although they’re coming out of a sticky run of form, I think they have the players that know how to handle this situation."
