Steven Gerrard has his say on Liverpool's Premier League title charge

Steven Gerrard says he will be the "happiest man in the world" if Liverpool win a first Premier League title this season.

The Reds legend was a part of the 2014 Liverpool team that came very close to winning a title under Brendan Rodgers.

Liverpool missed out to Manchester City that season, and are in competition with them again this campaign as both clubs look to get their hands on the trophy in May.

Gerrard took part in a charity match at Anfield on Saturday as an XI of Liverpool legends faced off against AC Milan.

The Reds ran out 3-2 winners, raising around £1m for the LFC Foundation in the process.

"I just hope the lads can go and get us over the line because I'll be the happiest man in the world."
