Steven Gerrard has explained his emotional celebration after Rangers ' victory over Hibs - saying the players and fans will "need each other" in the months ahead.
Gerrard 's team were up against it when Jack Ross' team came to Ibrox and trailed from the early stages when Kevin Nisbet headed home.
But Ryan Porteous' red card turned the tables and Rangers levelled through sub Kemar Roofe.
Ibrox erupted into scenes of elation when Alfredo Morelos burst into the box to fire home a winner that put Rangers back above Hearts at the top of the table.

And Gerrard led the celebrations as he geed up the home crowd after the final whistle.
Speaking to Rangers TV after the game, he explained why he was so emotional as he paid tribute to the home fans.
He said: "The emotion at the end from me? Myself, the team, the staff and the fans, we're gonna need each other throughout the season.
"We're gonna need to lift each other to where we want to be.
"We're in a good place in terms of where we want to be but we've got a long way to go."
