Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has hinted the club may look at an emergency signing to fill the void left by James Tavernier's injury.
The Ibrox captain went down with a knee injury in the first half of Thursday's 4-3 victory over Royal Antwerp in the Europa League.
Leon Balogun replaced him and filled in at right-back, a position he has experience in.
Gerrard is happy with the Nigerian providing a stop-gap solution for now but he's less keen on the notion of star midfielder Ryan Jack being shifted from his position as the midfield anchor.
The extent of Tavernier's injury will be revealed in the coming days after a scan, and the boss claimed he "might look outside" the current squad for an "emergency" solution.

Gerrard said: "We'll see what the scan shows in terms of what he's going to miss - he'll obviously miss the next few for sure.
"But I've got no insecurities or issues with playing Leon there, when we recruited Leon we were away he could play centre-back or right-back.
"He did that in his German days and he's an experienced player, he knows the game and he knows how we play.
"So he can certainly do a job there, we've also got Ryan Jack who's done it previously, we want to keep Jacko where he is and we don't want to put him back to using him as a right-back.
"Same with Glen Kamara and Scott Arfield - we have got options in there, they're not the ideal options in terms of the midfield lads so Leon's probably more ready for it, he's got the physical capabilities of adapting to play there.
"At the same time, we might look outside. We just have to wait to see what news comes back in terms of James' injury, we might have to look at an emergency situation there.
"But, at the moment, I'm happy to go with Leon."
