Delighted Steven Gerrard saluted his Europa League heroes for their Braga heroics as they booked their place in the last 16 of the tournament.
The Ibrox boss waxed lyrical about his side's brilliant performance as Ryan Kent 's ice-cool finish secured a 1-0 win to go through 4-2 on aggregate.
It was a near perfect night for Rangers and Gerrard was quick as a flash as he delivered a witty response when asked about his side's sixth penalty miss of the season following Ianis Hagi 's miss.
Alfredo Morelos and James Tavernier have also come a cropper from the 12 yards out but the Liverpool icon believes he has the perfect long-term solution.
He told BT Sport: "I'm on the next one, I'm on the next one.
"We're trying to find a solution in that area.
"Penalties are tough, especially in pressure situations, but we'll sit down with players and try and find the next solution.
"If no one wants it then I'll have to take it myself."
But Gerrard was quick to praise his players as they put their sluggish domestic run behind them to secure their most significant European result under his tenure.
He added: "I'm super proud of the players - to a man they were outsanding. I'm really proud of them.
"It's one thing giving a team a game plan but you've got to trust them to go and carry it out.
"I thought they were faultless, especially out of possession and the idea was to soak it up but carry a threat.
"The players deserve all the credit for that against the highest scorers in the competition.
"We knew the next five games before tonight would be huge."
