Steven Gerrard completes awards hat-trick after winning PFA Scotland prize

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has claimed his third personal award of the campaign after being awarded PFA Scotland's Manager of the Year gong.

Gerrard has managed to guide the Ibrox club to their first Premiership title since 2011 this season by romping to a total of 102 points, and managing to avoid losing one solitary match throughout the entire campaign.

The Gers boss had already bagged SPFL and Scottish Writers' awards and today he completed his hat-trick after being handed the PFA iteration.

By seeing off challenges from rivals David Martindale and Callum Davidson, along with Raith Rovers boss John McGlynn from the Championship, the former England captain becomes only the third Rangers boss to win the gong after Walter Smith and Mark Warburton.

Davidson could complete an historic domestic cup double with St. Johnstone, and Martindale helped Livi claim a spot in the top-six, but it was Gerrard who claimed the glory by winning the vote among PFA's members.
