Steven Gerrard has reportedly banned a number of items from the Aston Villa canteen.
Fizzy drinks, sauces, puddings and hot chocolate are all believed to be victims of the new manager's strict code of conduct.
He took over as boss from Dean Smith earlier in November after dramatically quitting Rangers and picked up a late victory over Brighton in his first Premier League outing on Saturday.
The Telegraph report Gerrard is demanding "extremely high" standards and that's resulted in certain foods being pulled from the menu for the senior and academy teams.
It's said Gerrard implemented a similar policy at Ibrox.
Devised alongside Villa's sport science department, cutting out the aforementioned items will stop players from consuming "empty calories".
Ketchup, mayonnaise and other condiments have been binned, but players may be allowed the occasional dessert to boost carbohydrate stores the day the before games.
Gerrard said last week: "The facilities at the training ground are elite and the structures are in place for the team to be successful.
"There’s a lot of ingredients to get into my starting XI and the players will find that out.
"You've got to have the right mentality and go above and beyond basically, strive to be elite and be the best version of yourself."
