Former Rangers striker Steven Naismith feels Steven Gerrard will have trouble motivating the players for the final run-in after the title win.
The side are on course for an unbeaten Premiership campaign as they face rivals Celtic this weekend days after their Scottish Cup exit.
Hearts striker Naismith reckons both side will just want the season to be over ahead of derby day at Ibrox.
He reckons the Celtic Park faithful's full attention is on who is coming in as manager and the massive summer rebuild.
For Gerrard and Rangers, Naismith told the PLZ Football Show that the Ibrox stars dip is natural after their title victory.
The former Ibrox star said: “The way Celtic are at the moment, they will just want this season done.
"They want to be able to look forward to the new manager coming in, the club going forward and getting excited about a new managers way of playing, what type of players he’s going to sign; they just want that.
“This season has been an absolute disaster for them and I think Rangers will be happy with it being a low key build up.
“They’re on the back of a bad cup result and as we get closer to the game the manager will drum it up like I think he did in the previous Old Firm.
“At this time of the season when the league is over you do find it’s harder for managers to get players up for games."
