Steve McManaman has backed Leeds United to go from strength to strength in the Premier League.
The Whites have made a big impact on the top-tier of English football after their promotion last season, with Marcelo Bielsa's much-talked-about style of playing helping to make his side one of the most entertaining in the league.
Whilst the Whites have scored plenty of goals, there has been criticism from some over the amount they have conceded in matches, having let in the most away goals and the most from set-pieces this season.
Yet McManaman is a big fan of Bielsa's style and believes they can go from strength to strength as they adapt to life in the Premier League.
Speaking on BT Sport ahead of the Whites' game against Wolves, McManaman said that, as Leeds learn about how teams set-up to face them, they will be able to evolve and grow stronger.
He said: “They’re brilliant, aren’t they? I can’t criticise them at all as I love the fact they play like they do.
“It’s their first season back in the Premier League, so they’re going to evolve.
“The longer they stay in the Premier League, they will learn from how other teams are going to play against them.
“They’ll bring in new players and evolve as a starting XI and they’ll probably get better.
“Ever since their first game back, they’ve been absolutely magnificent to watch.
“Admittedly, you don’t know what you’re going to get, you don’t know if they’ll score four or let in four but that’s the exciting thing about watching Leeds games.”
