Steve Kornacki worked wonders last year during the presidential election on MSNBC where he gave us updated voter numbers every hour. State by state. County by county. This man had us covered.
He didn’t go home, either. He stayed in the studio to the point where he became a whole meme. That’s dedication. Sacrifice. This man is a legend. You’ve never seen somebody work a board like that.
Which is exactly why Steve Kornacki is perfect for the sports world.
In a world where breakdowns happen on virtual boards on TV all the time, nobody is better than Kornacki. Nobody.
He’s flexed his stuff in the sports world before. He did the NFL’s playoff picture last season and he also did the Kentucky Derby. It’s been a while since he’s done sports work, though. And we miss him dearly.
But no worries, folks. Kornacki is back. And he’s hanging around for a little bit, too.
Kornacki is going to be a fixture on Football Night in America on Sundays for the night game, per Awful Announcing. It all starts with his first appearance this weekend as the NFL gears up for the playoffs.

Get ready for some virtual board magic, folks. It’s going to be a good few weeks in the NFL.
