After dropping 92 total points in his previous two games, Steph Curry was quiet against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night.
The Golden State Warriors’ point guard tallied only 13 points on 5-of-17 shooting from the field with five assists, four rebounds and a steal in 35 minutes.
Patrick Beverley and the Clippers’ defense crowded Curry, limiting him to only one triple on six attempts from beyond the arc. However, his only make from long-distance came on a tough contested shot after a competitive back and forth sequence with Beverley.

With the game winding down, a moment caused fans of the Warriors to collectively hold their breath. In the fourth quarter, Curry left the game after rolling his ankle while playing defense.
In his postgame presser with members of the media, Steve Kerr said Curry told him he doesn’t think the ankle tweak is anything serious.
He did tweak it. He told me it’s not serious. He’ll come in tomorrow and get treatment. We’ll check it out. The good news is Steph does not think it’s anything too serious.

Curry will have Thursday to work on his ankle before the second contest of Golden State’s two-game series with the Clippers on Friday. With Curry’s ankle injury history, the Warriors will likely be cautious with the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player.
