Warriors head coach Steve Kerr appeared to get caught on video complaining about Draymond Green’s antics in a surprising Sunday loss to the Phoenix Suns.
At least according to lip readers, Kerr looked to say, “I’m so (expletive) tired of Draymond’s (expletive).”
Well, Kerr wanted everyone to know Monday that the lip readers got it wrong — at least jokingly. The Warriors head coach met with reporters and was asked about the on-camera exchange. Kerr dismissed the presumed comments and offered his own recollection of the real remarks.
Kerr claimed that he actually said, “I beg to differ with Draymond’s approach tonight. Those were my exact words. I don’t know how somebody misconstrued that.”
I don’t know — maybe he was just talking about ramen.
The Suns snapped an 18-game losing streak to the Warriors, and Green particularly struggled in the matchup. He had six points on 3 of 9 shooting.
