Steve Kerr jokes about his Draymond Green comment from Suns loss

Late in the fourth quarter in the Warriors unacceptable loss to the Phoenix Suns, Steve Kerr was caught on camera saying some profane things about Draymond Green. It’s not clear exactly what Kerr said at the end, but pretty much everyone has come to an agreement that what he said was about Green and those words weren’t the most flattering.

During today’s shootaround, Kerr was asked if he had spoken to Green about the video that surfaced, and Kerr kindly responded by saying, “that’s private.” Kerr did jokingly offer up what he really said to assistant coach Mike Brown on Sunday night.

It’s pretty clear that Kerr didn’t say, “I beg to differ with Draymond’s approach” in the video from Sunday night, but he seems to be in good spirits about it and joking with the media was a good way to deflect one of the myriad bad stories surrounding the team at the moment.

Things have definitely been better in The Bay, but at the end of the day, things could be much worse. This is still one of the most talented teams in basketball with the greatest shooter of all time surrounded by at least three other future Hall of Famers.

There is a lot to get worked out between now and the start of the postseason, and Kerr’s relationship with Green is going to be one of them.
