Steve Kerr has thoughts on the Bryce Harper to San Francisco rumors

While the Golden State Warriors are in the midst of trying to win a third straight NBA Championship, the San Francisco Giants are at the end of their offseason. Despite spring training just around the corner, there are major free agents still on the market, arguably no bigger than Bryce Harper.

The former Nationals star outfielder, who is looking to land a $300 million contract, has reportedly put the Giants on his final list of destinations. Not only has BetOnline put 1/1 odds on the Giants landing Harper as of Monday (via NBC Sports), but publications such as Forbes and The Inquistr have also linked the two teams.

The Warriors, much like other professional sports franchises, are avid supporters of the other sports teams in the area, doing whatever they can to promote the team and the city. Steve Kerr joined in on the Harper recruitment on Saturday night before the Warriors played the Heat, When Kerith Burke asked about Kerr’s thoughts about the potential pairing, Kerr gave the obvious answer.

“That would be fun, I would love it if Bryce Harper came here. Does my opinion count here?”

No official word has been made if the statement violates any inter-sport tampering.
