Steve Kerr is the best. We already knew that, but he keeps backing that sentiment up on a regular basis.
It happened again Wednesday night at the Warriors’ team hotel.
For the past couple days, Raptors fans have seemingly stationed themselves at the St. Regis Toronto to heckle the Golden State Warriors. Some fans even shot off fireworks in an attempt to disturb the Warriors’ sleep ahead of the NBA Finals (Kevin Durant was not impressed).
But as Kerr was making his way to the hotel lobby, he heard some light heckling from Raptors fans. One fan asked Kerr to make his NBA Finals prediction — Raptors in 5 or 6?
Kerr was quick to hit back with this excellent answer.
Raptors in 8. (As long as the Warriors win Game 7).
The Raptors fans couldn’t help but laugh. That was so good.
The Warriors and Raptors will open Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night in Toronto.
