Steve Kerr attends Warriors practice during West finals

Steve Kerr took part in the Warriors' practice once again Monday and now appears healthy enough to help the team prepare on an everyday basis, even if he isn't ready to return to the bench as the head coach.

After not having much connection with the team during the Utah series, Kerr has now been visible around the team for four straight days, and was very involved behind the scenes in Sunday's 113-111 Game 1 victory over the San Antonio Spurs. Clips of him giving a locker room halftime talk to the team was shown on ESPN.

Kerr was in the locker room after the game and even briefly spoke to a few media members, although he did not give any indication if and when he might be ready to assume his full duties on the bench.

"The more he can be around, the more he can address the team, the more he can participate in practice and film sessions, we love it," said acting head coach Mike Brown. "He's our head coach, he's our leader, and we're in this position largely because of him."
