Steve Cooper returns to Swansea City for the first time this weekend after leaving the club in the summer.
The Welshman chose to cut short his time with the Swans having missed out on promotion to the Premier League after losing 2-0 to Brentford in last season's Championship play-off final.
But the ex-Swans boss has enjoyed a fine start to his time at The City Ground and no doubt heads back to his old stomping ground in a buoyant mood.
Ahead of the contest with Forest, we spoke to Matt Davies - who covers Cooper's side for our sister title Nottinghamshire Live - to get the full lowdown on Swansea's next opponents.
How have Nottingham Forest fared under Steve Cooper?
Fantastically, in a word. Only Fulham and Bournemouth have taken more points than Forest since his arrival 13 games ago.
Forest fans were always hopeful of an improvement under Cooper. It was impossible to be as bad as they were under Chris Hughton, but the immediacy of the improvement has been startling.
They've maybe dropped off a little in the last few games as teams work out how he wants them to play more, but he's added some defensive solidity so even if they don't win every game, they are tough to beat - hence only one defeat so far under him, against Fulham at home.
What are the key things he has changed at the club?
Off the pitch there are a few key points that are all quite basic. First and foremost he quickly got the fans onside. He made it clear he wanted to play good football and has backed that up, which Swansea fans might not like reading or agree with from what they said before he arrived.
He has embraced the history and stature of the club more than most managers I can remember. He has met more than once with European Cup winners to pick their brains and he often speaks of Forest needing to have 'a big-club mentality'. That is not to disrespect opponents, but Hughton seemed to spend more time bigging up the opposition than his own players.
A knock-on effect of that has been belief. He has built players up and let them do more of what they are good at and given them more freedom just to play than they had before.
What style of play has he implemented there?
Most Forest fans will admit the warnings from Swansea fans over the style of play raised concerns before Cooper arrived.
However, there has been very little evidence of what they spoke of so far. Forest have often played 3-4-3 with centre halves encouraged to bring the ball out and wing-backs pushed high up the field.
Problems at left wing-back have made that harder (Max Lowe is injured) and that has meant we have seen more 4-2-3-1 of late. Teams have found that easier to defend against, but Forest have still tried to win every game with positive substitutions always made.
No one is saying they are prime Liverpool or Man City and they don't play like Swansea under Rodgers or Martinez, but Forest do play more of the positive football fans are used to historically at the City Ground.
How has he been received by the fans?
Brilliantly. In his first game he spoke about the pride of managing a historic club and you could see he loved hearing the fans sing Mull of Kintyre before kick-off.
He has spoken about how powerful it is, even compared to the Welsh choir he was used to at the Liberty Stadium. I'm not sure if he did this at Swansea, but the Klopp-style fist pumps after wins are also popular.
Above all, he has made it fun to watch Forest again. Even when they were hammered by Fulham, 4-0 at home, people saw they were trying to win but were beaten by better players.

What do you expect from Saturday's game in Swansea?
Forest have a great away record but they've not quite been as fluid in their last few away games. They'll be hard to beat but not having Lowe at left wing-back hampers the way they want to play significantly.
Forest haven't seen the best of Brennan Johnson and Philip Zinckernagel of late. If they turn up then Swansea are in for a real game.
Swansea have a reputation of being a great footballing team again this season and I imagine Cooper will want to prove a big point so he will be right up for it.
How do you expect Forest to line up against Swansea?
They played with three central midfielders against Peterborough and it worked well to an extent. It's the kind of formation that might work well on the road with James Garner and Ryan Yates looking to disrupt Swansea's rhythm, even though Garner is in theory the number 10.
Braian Ojeda is a summer signing from Paraguay who needed time to adapt but he has done well and should keep his place in midfield.
A fourth central midfielder should play at left-back in Jack Colback. He is a steady operator there.
Predicted Forest XI: Samba; Spence, Worrall, McKenna, Colback; Yates, Ojeda; Johnson, Garner, Zinckernagel; Grabban.
