Steve Cooper explains how he plans to get Nottingham Forest scoring more goals

Nottingham Forest face their next challenge on Saturday (September 25) when they host Millwall at the City Ground.

Forest claimed their first win of the 2021/22 campaign to Huddersfield at the John Smith's Stadium under interim head coach, Steven Reid.

Newly-appointed manager Steve Cooper will now be commanding Forest for the first time since his appointment.

In the opening eight games, the Reds have scored only seven, while conceding 12 - an element Cooper will be eager to change as he begins his tenure at the club.

Striker Lewis Grabban, has scored two goals in the league thus far, while Lyle Taylor has scored once.

During Cooper's Thursday press conference, he told NottinghamshireLive: "It's about the team.

"We want to be attacking with good numbers trying to score different types of goals, not be one-dimensional.

"Part of that is talented strikers who can score. They've shown they can do that in previous seasons and hopefully we can try to create a bit more of that going forwards."
