The Devil is in the Retail in this darkly funny new film.
Alan Partridge series star Steve Coogan features in the satirical new film from director-writer Michael Winterbottom.
Greed follows a self-made British billionaire name Sir Richard McCreadie (Coogan), whose retail empire faces a major crisis.
For 30 years he has ruled the world of retail fashion – bringing the high street to the catwalk and the catwalk to the high street – but a public inquiry soon proves so damaging that there may be no coming back.
In an effort to undo the damage and make a swift comeback, McCreadie decides to hold a highly publicised and extravagant party to celebrate his 60th birthday on the Greek island of Mykonos.

We see the disgusting inequality of wealth in the film through the eyes of McCreadie's biographer, Nick (David Mitchell), who watches as the disgraced fashion mogul rises and falls.
The film also stars Isla Fisher as McCreadie's ex-wife, alongside Sex Education star Asa Butterfield, Kingsman star Sophie Cookson, Made in Chelsea star Ollie Locke, Doctor Who actress Pearl Mackie, Harry Potter actress Shirley Henderson, and Stephen Fry.

It certainly looks like it will be providing some fascinating social commentary with distinct parallels with current issues and powerful figures.
The film previously screened as part of the BFI London Film Festival 2019, with much of the cast and crew in attendance at its premiere.
Greed is released in UK cinemas on February 21, 2020.
