Steve Clarke says Scotland have prepared a plan to deal with any potential weather delays during the clash with Brazil.
Thunder and lightning is predicted in the Miami area ahead of the 6pm (11pm UK) kick-off time.
The France vs. Iraq World Cup match was disrupted and delayed for two hours and eleven minutes by torrential rain on Monday night.
The Group I match at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia was suspended at halftime due to severe thunderstorms and lightning in the area, with play officially resuming prior to France running out 3-0 winners.
“I think you see that the France game was delayed by the weather and it is the first time it's happened in the tournament,” said Clarke.
“So far we have probably been a little bit lucky with the weather. Looking at the forecast tomorrow it is possible if there will be some rain disruptions.

“We have a strategy in mind on to how to deal with it. Obviously you don’t know how long the delay is going to be You have to wait 30 minutes after the last lightning strike and that can just roll on and on.
“If there is to be be a delay then hopefully it can get short one and like I said before we have got a coping strategy and we have an idea what we would do if that happened to us.”
A point against the Brazilians would secure progress from Group C for the Scots. One of the likelier potential game options should the Scots reach the last 32 is a trip to Mexico City to face the co-hosts in the iconic Azteca Stadium.
Asked by a Mexican journalist if that prospect appealed Clarke rolled back the decades to a special moment in his own playing career.
“First of all, we have to get there. We have to get to through to the second stage. I'd love to go back to the Azteca Stadium because I've played there in the under 19 World Cup way back, many many years ago when I was young and fit and healthy for football.
“I managed to score a goal in the Azteca Stadium when Scotland beat 1-0 Mexico win, so if it does happen, we'll have a repeat.
“If we have to go to Mexico we will be delighted, because that means that we have qualified ourselves for the group stages.”
