Steve Clarke drafts in Celtic's Anthony Ralston and Blackburn's Dom Hyam for Cyprus and Spain

Steve Clarke has made TWO additions to his Scotland squad after Jack Hendry was forced to pull out.

The national team boss has added Blackburn Rovers defender Dom Hyam and Celtic full-back Anthony Ralston to his pool ahead of the big Euro 2024 qualifying campaign getting underway. It's a Hampden double-header to kick things off with Cyprus first up on Saturday before a big showdown under the lights with Spain next Tuesday.

Scotland have already guaranteed themselves a play-off spot following their Nations League success. That final game draw with Ukraine back in September last year secured top spot in League B meaning the Dark Blues will play in League A next time around while also bagging a safety net ahead of the qualifying route kicking off.

He will arrive in Mount Florida at the Lesser Hampden training base in high spirits with his club side right in the mix for the end of season play-offs while he could also land a first cap.
