Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has held further transfer meetings with new head coach Steve Bruce .
The Sports Direct magnate arrived via helicopter at lunchtime and is believed to have spoken with Bruce about new boy Joelinton and further potential deals.
Ashley had previously stated he wanted to be more involved at the club but this was his first appearance at the training ground for some time.
After holding talks with Bruce last week he was keen to have a more relaxed conversation with the ex-Aston Villa chief.
Bruce is hoping to add at least another four deals to Joelinton's arrival.
After splashing out £40million on Joelinton there is still another £50million that could be spent this summer.
Managing director Lee Charnley was also in attendance at the lunchtime meeting.
