Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce has branded the penalty decision that earned his side a point at Tottenham a "total nonsense".
Callum Wilson's last-gasp spot kick snatched a 1-1 draw for the Magpies in Sunday's Premier League clash.
Eric Dier was penalised for handball after Andy Carroll's header struck his arm at point blank range.
The penalty was given following a VAR check, leaving Tottenham players and staff fuming.
Jose Mourinho stormed down the tunnel - and Bruce admitted he would have reacted in a similar manner had the roles been reversed.
It followed a similar incident on Saturday which saw Everton awarded a penalty in their win over Crystal Palace - a decision that was heavily criticised by Eagles boss Roy Hodgson.
"I can understand why Spurs will go berserk and Roy Hodgson reacted like he did," said Bruce in his post-match press conference.
"It is a total nonsense. We should be jumping through hoops but I would be devastated if that was us."
Lucas Moura had given Tottenham an early lead but the hosts could not add to that, with Son Heung-min hitting the woodwork twice and Newcastle keeper Karl Darlow making 11 saves.
"If our goalkeeper (Darlow) didn't play as well first half they would have been out of sight," Bruce added.
"Second half, we were better and posed a bit of a threat.
"Our goalkeeper has got us a point and a decision that went our way."
