Scots Stereophonics fans were delighted today as the band announced their spring 2022 tour which has a date for the Glasgow Hydro.
But the good news didn't stop just there as they also revealed that they will also be bringing out their 12th studio album 'Oochya!' on March 4, 2022, to celebrate 25 years of the Stereophonics.
The rockers will play the SSE Hyrdo on March 21, before carrying on with the rest of the arena tour.
Their latest single from the new album, 'Hanging On Your Hinges' was released earlier today as the band gushed on social media about their exciting news.
Announcing the new album and tour on Instagram, the band wrote: "‘Oochya!' our new album will be released on 4th March 2022, and first single 'Hanging On Your Hinges’ is out now!
"We'll be playing it for you on a massive UK Arena tour in March/April 2022 following a very special show at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on 18th December 2021."
Frontman Kelly Jones, 47, told NME that in the album: “There are a lot of different moments, but it’s much more rock n’ roll than ‘Kind’.
"At our core, that’s what we are.
"There are periods in your life when you look inside yourself more, and you can’t fake those rock n’ roll songs.
"I love the guitar riff songs, and I’ve got a phone full of ideas for them.
"But if you’re not feeling it, there’s no point writing lyrics for them. For the last few years, I hadn’t really felt that vibe.
"This time, it really fitted.”
