Stephon Gilmore seems inspired by young female football player in Pawtucket

New England Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore seems to have been moved by the play of a 12-year-old named Quinn.

Quinn, a Pawtucket-native who plays cornerback and wears Gilmore’s No. 24, gets bullied for playing football, so Providence’s WPRI is going to tell her story. When the news station teased a video segment about Quinn on Twitter on Thursday, Gilmore spotted the video and decided to try to reach out to her.

“She’s repping that 24! Would love to meet you Quinn! If anyone knows her contact DM me! Hopefully she would enjoy a Pats game!” he wrote.

With Twitter behind him — and likely the Patriots organization — it’s easy to imagine Gilmore getting in touch with the young baller.
