Stephen Wardrop missing: Family's fears for 47-year-old last seen in Livingston supermarket ten days ago

The family of missing Livingston man Stephen Wardrop are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

The 47-year-old was last seen inside the Sainsbury's supermarket at Almondvale Retail Park ten days ago – at around 1pm on Sunday, 19 May.

He has not been in touch with his family since, and police say this is unusual for him.

He is described as being around 5ft 7ins tall, of medium build and was last seen wearing dark trousers, dark shoes, a khaki fabric jacket and blue baseball cap.

Inspector Douglas Simpson of Livingston Police Station said: "It's unusual for Stephen to go this length of time without contacting friends or family.

"He has access to a blue Nissan Micra with the registration Sl52 VAJ.

"If anyone has seen Stephen or his car, or has any information relating to his disappearance, please contact us on 101 and quote incident number 1828 of 24 May."
