Stephen Robinson on Bournemouth radar as relegated Premiership side hunt for new boss

Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson is on the shortlist of managers to take over the vacant Bournemouth post, it has been reported.

The Steelmen gaffer, who turned out for the Cherries as a player, is being viewed as a contender for the hot seat following the departure of Eddie Howe.

Jason Tindall, Howe's former assistant, is currently in caretaker charge at the club ahead of the start of the new campaign next month.

Robinson made over 200 appearances as a player on the south coast. He is gearing up for the opening day of the season in the Scottish Premiership tonight ahead of a trip to Ross County.
