Republic of Ireland team v Portugal: Stephen Kenny names side for World Cup qualifier as Shane Long tests positive for Covid-19

Stephen Kenny has named his side to start against Portugal in tonight's World Cup qualifier.

Ireland are in action on Wednesday night against Portugal as Stephen Kenny hopes to secure his first competitive win as Ireland boss.

And Kenny has named an exciting team to take on the 2016 European Champions.

Gavin Bazunu starts in goal while Seamus Coleman has been selected alongside Matt Doherty.

In form Shane Duffy partners John Egan and Dara O'Shea is named too..

Josh Cullen starts in midfield alongside Jeff Handrick and Jamie McGrath while Aaron Connolly and Adam Idah start up front.
