Stephen Graham shares sneak peek photo from set of Sky comedy

Stephen Graham has shared a sneak peek from the studio as he films another series of Sky comedy Code 404.

The show sees Stephen and co-star Daniel Mays play detective inspectors, with one of them brought back from the dead after a sting operation goes wrong.

Earlier this month Sky confirmed the pair would be back to "delete crime" for a third series.

Is a different role for Stephen, one of Liverpool's most celebrated actors, who usually plays more serious characters.

The 48-year-old recently helped Channel 4 to set a landmark record, with Help - also starring Jodie Comer - pulling in 1.1 million viewers.

Both Stephen and Daniel starred in Line Of Duty - though not at the same time - and Anna Maxwell-Martin, who played sinister cop Carmichael in the show, also joins them for Code 404.

Stephen shared his "pure joy" of filming Code 404 on Twitter, posting a behind-the-scenes snap.

Captioning the tweet, the dad-of-two wrote: "Pure joy… thank you @DanielMays9 for just being you mate! @WaterPowerProd @KudosTV #code404"

Series three will introduce Vinette Robinson as Professor McAllister and Daniel Lawrence Taylor as journalist Searle.

An air date has not yet been confirmed.
