In her tweet, she said: "@StephenGraham73 and I are so incredibly proud and thankful to each and every person involved to help make Boiling point! Thank you to all

"One -shot….done! @PhilipBarantini"

Stephen shared her tweet, adding: "What the lady said!"

The film's director Philip Barantini, who grew up in Huyton, said the film is loosely based on his own experiences.

Philip told the ECHO : “I worked my way from the bottom and became a head chef. I was doing a bit of acting on the side, but the chef-ing took over and I became really passionate about it. During that time, I saw a lot of things going on, highs and lows.

“I’d always had the idea to set something in a kitchen or a restaurant because it’s rife with drama. The stuff that goes on, it’s like nothing else.

"You only understand it if you’ve worked in it. If you’ve eaten in a restaurant it’s equally surprising when you realise the s*** that goes into making a meal.”

Responding to Stephen's tweet, a number of fans shared their excitement for the new movie.

MrsCartlidge said: "Can’t wait to see it already have tickets booked"

Ashley Wane said: "Another great job by a top fella"

nhlanhla412 said: "Is there anyone who works more than you?"

empressimane said: "I watched it online during BFI and loved it! Would love to watch the short film from 2019 too"

Boiling Point will be released in the UK on Friday, January 7.
