Aberdeen boss Stephen Glass admits he has not sought clarity from Crawford Allan over the contentious penalty his side conceded against Rangers because he believes it's a waste of time. .
He was left peeved over the decision to award the Ibrox side a penalty after Fashion Sakala tumbled to the ground following contact with David Bates.
That call allowed Rangers skipper James Tavernier to step up and rescue a 2-2 draw, with many observers believing the wrong call was made by referee John Beaton.
Allan, in his role as head of officials, is available to managers to discuss incidents but Glass insists his sole focus is now on Hearts as he looks to secure all three points on Saturday.
Aberdeen boss Glass said: "I don't waste my time doing that.
"It's a pointless exercise, there's no point in me trying to phone and find decisions. Even if you get an acceptance that a decision is wrong, it costs you a couple of points.
"The only thing I can focus on now is helping our team get three points on Saturday, that's where my energy is.
"It can look like sour grapes at times when you start complaining about stuff, so it's not something that I want to do.
"You get asked after the game, so of course I'm going to answer it. At the time it's important as a staff that we control ourselves as well, which is difficult at times but it's what you have to do.
"The referee's got the chance to watch it once live as well, so it can be difficult for him I'm sure but we would just hope that the decisions are made correct more often."
