Stephen Frail leaves Northern Ireland Under 17 and 19 posts

Northern Ireland are on the lookout for another new manager after Stephen Frail's departure as Under 17 and 19 boss.

Frail - a native of Glasgow - has been named as assistant manager of Scottish Premiership side Dundee United.

He spent four-and-a-half years working with the Irish FA but has now left for club football across the water.

The IFA recently appointed Ian Baraclough as senior Northern Ireland manager following the departure of Michael O'Neill to Stoke City.

Baraclough - who was the former coach of the Under 21s - said of Frail: “I’m delighted for Stephen to get this opportunity.

"He has been a real asset for the development of our underage groups and the association as a whole.

“He joined on my first trip as the U21s manager to Estonia and was a huge help to me during that period.

“He has been an asset from day one and we wish him every success in this new and exciting role."
