Stephen Curry says his toughest defender is coach Steve Kerr

The Golden State Warriors live a charmed life. They have won three of the past four NBA titles, they’re currently the great dynasty in the league, and they have the best shooter the game has ever seen in Stephen Curry.

There seems to be no answer in the league for Curry. He can pull it from anywhere and the man just has an uncanny accuracy even when he’s off balance. There is just no way to defend him.

However, ask Curry himself and he’ll tell you exactly who can defend him: coach Steve Kerr.

How dare Kerr do his job and pull his superstar point guard from the game to get him some rest! That should be considered a crime in NBA circles!

Nevertheless, that’s that charmed life the Warriors live. They can crack jokes about these things because they know nobody can stop them.

Curry is having another phenomenal season averaging 27.9 points and shooting 43.7 percent from downtown. He had 25 points and made five from deep in Sunday’s 137-90 thrashing of the Hornets at home.

The Warriors now prepare for a showdown with the Denver Nuggets in a battle for the top seed in the West at home on Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. PST tip.
