Stephen Curry offers support to Kevin Durant following media spat

Kevin Durant does not seem to be too happy with the media right now. Amidst the multitude of reports regarding Durant’s upcoming free agency, reporters have constantly been on his tail, looking for even the slightest hint for his future decision. After almost 10 days without speaking to the media, Durant tried to face reporters following the team’ s victory over San Antonio last night, but left quickly after his frustrations boiled over. Teammate Stephen Curry addressed Durant’s situation with the media soon after.

“I wouldn’t call it a distraction, it’s just more so, from his standpoint, it’s frustrating.”

Curry felt that it was disappointing that Durant couldn’t control his own voice regarding his future decisions, and isn’t allowing him to focus fully on basketball. However, Curry believed that despite all the noise and drama, Durant was handling the pressure extremely well. While no one seems to know what is in store for free agency, it seems that the team is prepared for whatever decision comes their way.
