Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant carry the load in Warriors' win over Mavs

DALLAS _ When all else fails, the Warriors have two dependable options. Lean on Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant.

The Warriors prevailed with a 119-114 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday by leaning on their two leading scorers as they often do. Curry, who had 48 points on 17-of-32 shooting and 11-of-19 from long, made a 3-pointer at the top of the key that gave the Warriors a 117-114 lead with 42.2 seconds left. Durant added 28 points on a 10-of-21 clip.

Good thing the Warriors had Curry and Durant to cement their fourth consecutive win. In a game that featured four ties and six lead changes, the rest of the Warriors shot a collective 18-of-46 from the field. Klay Thompson had 16 points albeit on an inefficient 7-of-20 from the field and 2-of-11 from 3.

Warriors forward Draymond Green made a key defensive stop on Jalen Brunson's layup attempt with 27 seconds left. Though Curry missed a layup that could have sealed the win, former Warriors forward/Dallas forward Harrison Barnes bobbled the ball out of bounds. Curry then made two free throws to ice the game.

The Mavericks (20-23) featured Luka Doncic (26 points), Barnes (22), DeAndre Jordan (13 points, 14 rebounds) and Brunson (12) in double figures.

The Warriors (29-14) play the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday before returning Wednesday against the New Orleans Pelicans at Oracle Arena.
