Stephen Curry climbs up the NBA's all-time 3-point list in Warriors' big win over Bulls

OAKLAND, Calif. _ The Golden State Warriors cruised to a 146-109 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Friday for a pretty simple reasons.

Klay Thompson (30 points), Stephen Curry (28) and Kevin Durant (22) are pretty good at basketball. With the Warriors leading by as many as 44 points, the only intriguing elements involved some milestones.

Curry surpassed Jason Terry for third place on the NBA's all-time list in career 3-pointers. Curry, who went 5-of-11 from the perimeter, has 2,283 career 3-pointers and only trails Ray Allen (2,973) and Reggie Miller (2,560).

Thompson, who went 7-of-11 from the perimeter, did not exactly come close to surpassing the NBA record 14 3-pointers he made in Chicago on Oct. 29. But he opened the first quarter making his first 3 3-pointers.

The Warriors (28-14) have a three-game winning streak entering a two-game trip in Dallas (Sunday) and Denver (Tuesday).
