Stephen Colbert's 'Late Show' imagines if ESPN expanded 'The Last Dance' to 142 episodes

What would "The Last Dance" look like if it was 142 episodes instead of 10? "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" re-imagined ESPN's Michael Jordan docuseries on Thursday.

The expanded docuseries would "include everything: His shoes, his underwear, his sandwich" and feature interviews with "Mad About You" alum Richard Kind, Mets first baseman Pete Alonso and astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Kind, a Northwestern University and Second City alum, opined on the greatness of the limited-edition '90s McJordan sandwich.

"One time I had a layover at O'Hare and I go to the McDonalds, and I took one bite. I went, 'Wow, this man is the greatest basketball player of all time,' " Kind said.

Alonso weighed in on Jordan's time with the Birmingham Barons, the White Sox's Double-A affiliate, while deGrasse Tyson talked "Space Jam." According to "The Late Show," ESPN is also planning to air a series about the worst Bulls player, Denny Sinclair, who does crossword puzzles on the sidelines.

The seventh and eighth episodes of "The Last Dance" are scheduled to air Sunday on ESPN. "The Late Show" airs at 10:35 p.m. weeknights on WBBM-Ch. 2.
