Stephen Bear slammed by fans after he admits twins pregnancy post was a hoax

Stephen Bear has been slammed by fans on social media after he revealed a recent pregnancy scan he shared on social media was a hoax.

The 31-year-old reality star took to his YouTube channel to confirm that he had actually found the twin baby scan on Google.

His confession came hours after the controversial television figure shared the ultrasound image on his social media page, saying: "Wasn't expecting 2. Think it's time I should I grow up."

Later in his YouTube video, Stephen revealed that it had all been a joke and he was just 'having a laugh'.

"Happy Monday everyone, or should I say mix it up Monday?" Stephen said to his YouTube fans.

"I thought I'd do a little tweet, just having a laugh. I got this picture on Google, like a picture of twins. I thought I'd lighten up everyone's mood today.

The television star then shared an image of his post, before reading out a number of comments that he had received on social media following his announcement.

He then added: "I just feel like you can't have jokes anymore in this society. I don't know if it's just Twitter, but on YouTube everyone seems a lot more fun.

"I go on Twitter and everyone's so miserable, they're so angry, they're so annoyed I've done a tweet pretending to have twins. Even though I do want twins. I'm curious to see what the public would think if I did have babies."

Since revealing that the baby scan had been a joke, Bear has been inundated with comments from furious fans.

"You've absolutely lost it, how is that funny using someone else's pregnancy picture? Just admit you were wrong, end of story," wrote one.

"Where was the joke mate," wrote another.

A third wrote: "You knew what kind of response this was going to get that’s why you posted it!!! Anything to stay relevant!!"

Stephen's latest post came one month after the reality star was arrested on his birthday at Heathrow Airport after flying home from Dubai in January.

Bear is currently on bail until February 10.
