Stephen A. Smith spent all morning melting down about the Knicks and Zion Williamson

Stephen A. Smith is not taking Tuesday night’s NBA Draft lottery well.

See — Smith is a longtime supporter of the New York Knicks. He unapologetically loves the Knicks, which sounds like a rough existence. But who am I to judge?

When the basketball gods teased the Knicks faithful with the best chance of landing Zion Williamson out of the top 4, Smith got his hopes up only to see the Knicks get stuck with the No. 3 pick. He immediately responded with a sad rant in a dark room.

Now, with time to sleep off the disappointment, Smith wasn’t exactly doing much better. He spent his entire appearance on ESPN’s Get Up in meltdown mode about the No. 3 pick. Let’s just say that Smith won’t be too happy with R.J. Barrett as a consolation prize.

This was peak Stephen A. Smith.

To get an idea of just how upset Smith was on Wednesday, he actually agreed with Max Kellerman about something. Of course, that something was that the Knicks are cursed.

And there was more:

Just wait until the Knicks whiff on free agents this offseason. I’m not sure if Smith will be able to handle that.
