Stephen A. Smith: ‘If anybody has any damn sense, James Harden will be crowned a two-time league MVP’

It isn’t often (ever) I agree with Stephen A. Smith, but turns out I agree with him on one thing: James Harden should win the MVP award for the second season in a row.

“I don’t want to talk about this anymore. There’s nothing to talk about. If anybody has any damn sense, James Harden will be crowned a two-time league MVP when this season’s over,” said Smith on “First Take” this week.

The news media has been debating for *weeks* if Harden should get the MVP over Giannis Antetokounmpo.

RocketsWire has already laid out the reasons why The Beard > The Greek Freak. (FYI: The Rockets play at the Milwaukee Bucks tonight)

“James Harden is sensational He’s one of the great offensive players we have ever seen in the history of this game,” Smith said on the show. “He’s just a magician. He’s something special.”

Smith adds: “James Harden could sit down right now and I would give him the award.”

The Rockets have just eight games left this season.
