Stephanie Pratt blasted by furious fans for telling police to 'shoot the looters'

Stephanie Pratt has been slammed on social media after she shared a post that allegedly promoted violence amid the ongoing protests following George Floyd's death.

The 34-year-old reality star took to Twitter over the weekend to share her thoughts on robberies taking place as the country faces national unrest.

The television personality, who previously starred on the cast of The Hills, appears to urge police to 'shoot the looters' in her tweet.

"Shoot the looters — using this tragedy as their excuse to rob and burn all of our towns down," Stephanie's original tweet read.

In a second tweet she added: "My heart breaks for all of these businesses around LA affected. First the quarantine & now this."

It wasn't long before Stephanie's own mug shot went viral after fans pointed out that she had previously been arrested herself for stealing $1,300 of clothes.

The former Made In Chelsea star appears to have since removed her first post from Twitter.

Pratt's 'disgusted' followers were quick to call out the television star over her message.

"I’m disgusted. You’re promoting killing people over material objects. YOU. ARE. THE. PROBLEM," wrote one Twitter user.

Another added: "remember when you got arrested for stealing from neiman marcus, you f*****g racist hypocrite."

Others shared pictures of her mug shot alongside their comments: ""Oh cause I thought the thief who shoplifted more than $1,300 worth of clothing from Neiman Marcus said some...."

A fourth challenged Steph over other allegations: "Is this the same girl that was arrested for DUI? AND the same girl that was arrested for shoplifting? Didn't your BF (Julien Chabbolt) run over a cop's foot trying to evade a parking ticket while you were actually WITH him? They could build a monument to how irrelevant you are!"

Stephanie's original tweet appears to have since been deleted (@stephaniepratt/Twitter)

Stephanie was arrested in 2006 when she tried to steal thousands of dollars worth of clothes in Hawaii when she was high.

When she was searched by police she had drugs in her possession and was eventually charged with second-degree theft.

Protests erupted across the United States when footage surfaced of police officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on George Floyd's neck. He later died from his injuries and Chauvin was arrested and charged with third-degree murder.
