Stephanie Davis has confirmed she has separated from her partner Joseph McKalroy, just four months after the couple welcomed their son, Samuel.
The former Hollyoaks star, 31, shared the news in an emotional statement to fans, writing: “Never in a million years did I think I'd be writing this.
“I've been left with no choice but to address the rumours. This has come as a complete shock and has been an incredibly painful and unexpected time.
She continued: “Just four months after having a baby - one of the most vulnerable and emotional times in a woman's life - I've found myself facing this chapter on my own.”
Davis, who has spoken candidly in the past about personal struggles and previous breakups, said she had believed this relationship would be different.
“After everything I've been through in the past, I truly believed I'd finally found my happiness-something secure and lasting. But that, heartbreakingly, hasn't been the case.

She added: "I'm grateful for the years we had because without us I wouldn't have my Samuel. Who will always be my priority.
"Right now, I'm focusing on healing. protecting my peace, and doing the best I can-being there for my two beautiful boys.
“Thank you to those who've reached out-your kindness has meant more than I can say. Stephanie X.”
The couple began dating in 2022.
In January, McKalroy posted a heartfelt tribute following Samuel’s birth, honouring his late brother, for whom the baby is named.
Confirmation of their split follows online speculation after fans noticed Joseph was not mentioned in Davis’s Father’s Day posts—though she did share a tribute to her own dad.

In the post, she praised her dad for being there for her and her two sons, writing: “There aren't many men like you.”
One fan then replied: “Where's Joe?” while another commented: “I think they have split up” and a third remarked: “Hope you and joe are OK”.
Davis also has a seven-year-old son, Caben, with former Celebrity Big Brother co-star Jeremy McConnell.
In 2022, she and McKalroy spoke publicly about a miscarriage they had suffered, describing it as a devastating loss.
