Stephane Omeonga revels in battle with Celtic skipper Scott Brown as he goes fishing on social media

Stephane Omeonga's contest with Scott Brown was one of few talking points from Hibs' draw with Celtic.

The on-loan Genoa man and the Hoops captain are both all-action competitors and they crossed paths several times during the Easter Road stalemate.

Brown put Omeonga on the deck with a firm but fair challenge in the second half while the Hibs man sold the veteran midfielder a few dummies.

There were also words exchanged between the pair, with striker Florian Kamberi picking up a booking as he too got involved.

Omeonga has quickly endeared himself to the Leith crowd with his commitment to the cause since his January move.

And now he's taken to social media with a post dedicated to the Hibs support.

He posted a picture of himself smirking at Brown on Twitter and perhaps indulged in a little bit of fishing with how he captioned the post.

Celtic, Rangers and Hibs in three-way showdown as Reserve league heads for final day drama

He said: "This one is for my true hibbees supporters! I let you guys comment this one #GGTH"

The result kept up boss Paul Heckingbottom's unbeaten league record since replacing Neil Lennon.

Omeonga has been a key man on that run but is set to return to Genoa at the end of the season.
