Celtic are closely following French star Stephane Diarra, according to a report.
The 20-year-old Le Mans prospect is also believed to be attracting interest from former boss Brendan Rodgers at Leicester.
L'Equipe claim the Scottish Premiership champions have been following the Ligue 2 star's progress for several seasons.
That would explain Rodgers' continued interest in Diarra, with Newcastle United also believed to be among his admirers.
Celtic have had exceptional success scouting young French players, with Moussa Dembele, Olivier Ntcham and Odsonne Edouard all proving shrewd business in recent seasons.
And despite the change in leadership placing Neil Lennon and Nick Hammond in charge of transfer business over the past nine months, it appears to be an avenue the club will continue to explore.
Diarra has played off both flanks in his 16 appearances this term, scoring three goals and registering two assists.
He was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast but also holds French citizenship, although has yet to feature at any international level.
