Steph McGovern was reportedly rushed to hospital after injuring her hand.
The Steph's Packed Lunch presenter, 39, also had to make an emergency dash to a fire station to get her wedding ring cut off after her finger swelled to three times its normal size.
She had slammed her finger in a door frame, causing it to turn purple and swell, leaving her wedding ring wedged painfully.
Steph reportedly tried using soap and water and ice and a ribbon to try and get the ring off, before enlisting the help of the fire service.
She took to Twitter on Friday to open up about the terrifying ordeal.
Steph shared a number of pictures, including one of her finger, which was visibly swollen.
The TV host also posted two snaps of the moment the ring was cut off, and another of her posing in front of a fire engine with firefighters.
It was a bit of a rollercoaster day for Steph, who revealed that it was also the day her daughter started nursery.
She captioned the post: "Eventful morning…..started with trip to @FireHarrogate to get a ring cut off swollen finger I’d trapped in door……
"Thanks so much to Matt @TurnerTurner11, Lisa @Arcticwolf31, Dave + James for sorting it out!
"Straight after had to take my daughter for first ever day at nursery."
Steph was reportedly embarrassed to go to the fire station about her finger, but her heroes were "so lovely" and came to her rescue.
A source told The Sun: "Poor Steph was horrified to see her finger swelling by the minute.

"She was Googling various remedies to try and get it off but to no avail. In the end she called her local fire station who told her to pop round, and they'd get their tools out - a ring-cutter - and fix it.
"She was a bit embarrassed, but everyone was so lovely. It made a change from getting cats out of trees and, well, fighting fires."
The Mirror has contacted a rep for Steph McGovern and is currently awaiting comment.
It was recently revealed that Steph will be returning to breakfast TV for the first time since she BBC Breakfast in 2019 to join Channel 4, later fronting her own lunchtime show, Steph’s Packed Lunch.
She is set to front the Paralympics Breakfast Show on Channel 4 this summer alongside TV host and former Paralympic cyclist Arthur Williams.
Announcing the news, Steph said on Twitter: "Eeee this is exciting. Am buzzing to be part of the team bringing you the #Paralympics for @Channel4."
